“Temari: Shades of Pink” GCC — Sandhill Crane Chapter

Gulfview chapter has space in its Autumn 2017 Group Correspondence Course, Temari: Shades of Pink, Part I

The Sandhill Crane Chapter is offering GCC Temari Shades of Pink, Part 1 beginning in September2017 and continuing until January, 2018. 

The first class will meet on September 6 at our monthly meeting at Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Brooksville.  Expected activities will be handing out the text, offering basic information on materials and accessories, and tips for getting started.  Subsequent classes will be on the first Wednesday of October, November, and January at the church.  Meetings are from 10-2.

The facilitator will be JanMazourek.  Cost is $55 for text and class.

A duClay Chapter workshop: 2 Days with Catherine Theron

duClay Chapter offers two days of classes with Catherine Theron of Theron Traditions.  Saturday and Sunday September 16th  & 17th  at the Courtyard Marriott in Orange Park FL.  Catherine has taught for EGA regional seminars, national seminars, Celebration of Needlework, many sampler guilds and has never taught in FL before.

Class and kit cost for chapter members (yes please join our chapter) is $250 plus lunches. Non-EGA members $300.  This is a super price for this caliber of projects.    A $50 non-refundable deposit will hold your seat in class.  Payments may be made. First is the Wee Sampler Sewing case, a new piece.

Next is the Quaker Necessare which is a beautiful sewing case with accessories.  Each design is a 1 day class but you must be seated both days in class to get the kits (teacher’s rule)

“Temari: Shades of Pink” GCC — Gulfview Chapter

Gulfview chapter has space in its Autumn 2017 Group Correspondence Course, Temari: Shades of Pink, Part I

Class will start in October 2017 and continue for a total of four consecutive months.

The first class will be on October 11, 2017 after Gulfview Chapter membership meeting. This class will be short in time, as it is intended just for the distribution of the “start” materials and beginning instructions.

The next classes will be held at the New Port Richey Public Library on the third Wednesday of November, December and January 2018. A room is reserved 10:00 AM (library opens) to 3:00 PM

The GCC will be led by DonnaChristie.
