What do jellyfish and Santa have in common? Kurdy Biggs!! She’s teaching two classes for our Indian River Chapter and you’re invited to join us. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
CLASS DETAILS:
The Santa Gnome (1-day class) is 4 1/4″ x 5 3/4″. Proficiency is basic to intermediate.
Stitched with a mix of textures that include Rainbow Gallery’s Elegance, Flisten, Petite Frosty Rays, and Sparkle Braid threads along with Soie Perlee silk and Kreinik metallics. The Santa Gnome incorporates an array of specialty stitches including Jessicas, crescents, sprat’s heads, and Rhodes. The embroidery is embellished with a selection of twinkling crystals and beads.
Jarvis the Jellyfish (2-day class) is 10″x5″. Proficiency is intermediate. Jarvis will be woven with Jessicas, sprat’s heads, Rhodes, and crescent stitches in a palette of pearlescent threads in white, green, blue, lavender, and pink hues with incorporated sparkles and an array of threads, mesh ribbon, and pearl strings to introduce delicate tentacles and seagrass.
